Despite the great accomplishment of being the first Human colony on another planet and the symbol of hope that Exodus has become, most of the colonists that live there consider themselves less than fortunate to do so. After the establishment of Genesis, it seemed as though the red planet had been forgotten.

While it was once a marvel of Human ingenuity and a popular tourist destination, the future of the first Human colony looks bleak to many of its inhabitants. Most who can afford it look to leave Mars behind, either going back to their home planet of Earth or to one of the many other colonies that Humanity has established over the years since Exodus' foundation, though many of the colonists here are damned to stay due to a lack of any real income.
